Healthy Shamrock Shake Recipe

Updated: Jun 10

St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect time to celebrate all things green, but that doesn’t mean you have to settle for artificial flavors and sugar-laden treats. Our clean-eating Shamrock Shake is packed with wholesome ingredients to fuel your body while still giving you that creamy, minty goodness you crave!

Unlike the fast-food version, this shake gets its beautiful green hue from fresh spinach and avocado, providing a natural boost of vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats to keep you feeling energized. Plus, with customizable options like hemp seeds, collagen powder, or your favorite non-dairy yogurt, you can tailor it to your taste and nutrition needs.

Enjoy this refreshing, nutrient-packed treat while embracing the luck of the season—no artificial dyes or sugar crashes required!

Shamrock Shake

¾ Cup Non-Dairy Mylk or Raw Milk

¼- ½ Ripe Avocado

½ large banana frozen or 1 small banana

1 Cup Fresh Baby Spinach

2 Tbsp or more Hemp Seeds or Collagen Powder

¼ - ½ tsp Peppermint Extract

½ - 1 Cup Ice

Toppings: Hemp Seeds, Shredded Coconut, Plain CocoJune yogurt etc.

Preparation:

Place everything in blender and process until smooth. Adjust thickness and flavor as needed. If you desire, sprinkle the shake with the above toppings.

This is a lovely alternative to the fast-food version. It is easily customizable depending on your taste buds. If you are not an avocado fan, replace it with your favorite nut butter or non-dairy yogurt like cocojune for a similar creamy consistency. If you are looking for more protein, add more hemp seeds or collagen powder. If the mint flavor doesn’t pull through add more extract! It is a thick shake, so the flavor is not diluted.
